Music is my first love and then follows art. Both have always been in a spiritual and - in former times - religious connection. Already as a child I wanted to share my experiences about God and I wanted to show, that God is so different from what we know and what has us been told. I wanted to do music for God and express my love and gratitude ... and use all the talents which were given to me.
Maybe you might think I was a somewhat precocious child. But, no, I was a rascal like others and in a household of 7 children it sometimes got chaotic and very noisy. So I went out in nature already when I was very young, to a forest or in our garden and I dreamt. I dreamt for hours - today you would say it was a eyes open dreaming. During these times I had many spiritual experiences.
A lot which I experienced I have expressed in poems and, yes, in paintings.
Later this was leading to my studies of Theology, Art and German Literature - and in the area of music I have learned Piano, Flute (recorder) and Violin.
I am born 1945 in a little village in Germany - 8 days after the end of the war.
1998, while doing all kinds of graphics on the computer I discovered certain programs, with which I could create paintings with a kind of flexibility you do not have using paint on canvas or crayons on paper. This possibility of creating different versions and testing was of great advantage to approach the painting which was just right. I am also able to work in 3D thus creating virtual worlds in which you can travel, look around, watch the different angles. This was similar to experiences I had as a child when I could "walk" into the patterns on a wallpaper.
Another skill I involve is a deep dreaming which I would now call "Trance" which leads me into areas of the unconscious and Higher conscious. There I can pick up messages, see and feel beyond our normal boundaries. These messages I transform into the paintings.
The same I do when I interpret your Soul Painting. I record what I hear while contemplating the painting.
For me this is a work which makes me really happy - and I also make other people happy which I have given more knowing about themselves, more self confidence and inspiration to lead a richer life.
Right now I live in the Westerwald forest together with my family, 2 dogs, 3 rabbits and 2 desert mise. My days are filled with seminar preparations, giving seminars, consultations, making music, writing, answer emails, create web sites and, yes, creating paintings.
